Terms of Service

Effective

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the Notable Networkers website. By accessing or using the website, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the website.

1. About Notable Networkers

Notable Networkers is a professional networking group serving business owners and professionals in the Rochester, New York area.

The website provides general information about the group, its members, available professional categories, meetings, events, membership fees, and the membership application process.

2. Website Information

We make reasonable efforts to keep the information on this website accurate and current. However, we do not guarantee that all information will always be complete, accurate, or up to date.

Meeting times, locations, membership fees, open professional categories, member information, events, and other details may change without notice.

Information on the website is provided for general informational purposes and does not constitute legal, financial, tax, medical, employment, or other professional advice.

3. Visiting a Meeting

Submitting a visit form does not guarantee admission, seating, refreshments, a particular meeting experience, or future membership.

Meeting dates, times, locations, formats, and attendance requirements may be changed or canceled at the group’s discretion.

Visitors are expected to conduct themselves professionally and respectfully. Notable Networkers may refuse entry to or remove any visitor whose behavior is disruptive, unsafe, inappropriate, or inconsistent with the purpose of the group.

4. Membership Applications

Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance into Notable Networkers.

Applications may be reviewed, verified, approved, denied, deferred, or withdrawn at the discretion of the membership committee or group leadership, subject to applicable law and the group’s governing rules.

Applicants agree to provide complete, current, and truthful information. Providing false, misleading, incomplete, or materially inaccurate information may result in:

  • Rejection of an application

  • Revocation of an offer of membership

  • Suspension or termination of an existing membership

  • Other action permitted by the group’s rules

We may contact professional references or otherwise verify information included in an application.

A typed name or other electronic signature submitted through the application is intended to serve as the applicant’s electronic signature and acknowledgment of the applicable declaration.

5. Professional Categories and Non-Compete Structure

Notable Networkers generally operates using a one-member-per-professional-category structure.

The availability of a category shown on the website is not guaranteed. Category availability may change before an application is reviewed or approved.

The group retains discretion to:

  • Define professional categories

  • Determine whether businesses or services overlap

  • Approve or deny category assignments

  • Modify or combine categories

  • Resolve category conflicts

  • Determine whether a member remains eligible to hold a category

A category assignment applies only within Notable Networkers. It does not create an exclusive legal right to provide services in any geographic area, market, or industry.

6. Membership Fees

Membership fees, room dues, late fees, payment schedules, and refund terms may be displayed on the website or provided during the application process.

Unless otherwise required by law or expressly stated in writing, fees become non-refundable after an applicant has been accepted into the group.

Submitting an application does not itself create a charge unless a separate payment process is clearly presented and authorized.

Members remain responsible for reviewing and complying with the group’s current payment requirements, attendance requirements, bylaws, policies, and rules of conduct.

7. No Guarantee of Referrals or Business Results

Notable Networkers is intended to create opportunities for professional relationships and referrals. However, we do not guarantee:

  • Any minimum number of referrals

  • That a referral will become a customer

  • That a referral will result in revenue

  • That another member will recommend your business

  • Any particular financial, professional, or business outcome

  • The accuracy or quality of information supplied by another member or visitor

Each person is responsible for evaluating prospective customers, vendors, partners, opportunities, and referrals before entering into a transaction or professional relationship.

8. Member Listings and Endorsements

The appearance of a member, business, service, event, or external link on the website does not constitute a guarantee, certification, or warranty regarding that person or organization.
